A real commitment to sustainable mobility in Mallorca
We actively join electromobility with the support of the MOVES III Plan, integrating clean solutions that protect the air you breathe when waking up in our country houses.
We have incorporated an electric car into our company service thanks to the MOVES III Plan grants in Mallorca, reducing the emissions of our journeys around Santanyí to zero.
Description of the operation
The specific action consisted of acquiring a state-of-the-art electric car for our company in Santanyí. With this measure, we actively support the introduction of zero-emission vehicles in Santanyí within the holiday accommodation sector, strictly complying with the programme’s publicity and transparency requirements.
Our team’s day-to-day journeys —meetings, visits to the properties we manage, and errands around the area— are now carried out without generating noise or fumes. We believe that electric mobility in the tourism sector is not a future option, but a present responsibility we must embrace.

Objectives and results of the MOVES III Plan
Our main objective when applying for these efficient mobility incentives 2025 has been clear: to adopt clean transport solutions that are aligned with European energy transition regulations. We want to demonstrate that it is possible to manage quality tourism in the south of Mallorca while completely minimising the environmental impact of our activity.
As a direct result, we have consolidated an efficient car within our company’s assets. This not only optimises our resources but also ensures the effective dissemination of the benefits of clean energy among our guests and the local community. Every kilometre we travel in the daily management of Drac Mallorca is now carried out under the seal of real sustainability.
This project, with a grant of €2,900, has been funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan in Mallorca. The dissemination of this aid is carried out in collaboration with the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) and the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE).
Result
The transition towards sustainable mobility in Mallorca requires the joint effort of companies, guests and institutions. Thanks to the financial backing of European funds, at Drac Mallorca we have managed to make this technological leap efficiently. This electric car is largely powered by the clean energy generated by the solar panels of our offices and homes, closing a virtuous circle of environmental respect.
