In our accommodations Son Garrot, Son Sec, and Rústica Sa Talaia Vella, we are firmly committed to sustainability, energy efficiency, and the reduction of pollutant emissions.
Thanks to the financial support from the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, managed by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, IDAE, and the Government of the Balearic Islands, we have been able to carry out the following action:
- ✅ Replacement of oil-fired boilers with an aerothermal system for heating and domestic hot water (DHW).
Objectives of the Action:
- Eliminate the use of fossil fuels in our thermal systems.
- Improve the energy efficiency of tourist accommodation.
- Reduce the environmental impact and move towards a cleaner and more sustainable model.
Expected Results
With the implementation of this aerothermal system, a significant reduction in energy consumption is expected, as well as a substantial decrease in CO₂ emissions, contributing to the decarbonization goals of the European Union.
This improvement not only results in energy savings, but also in improved thermal comfort for our guests, providing a more pleasant environment year-round.
This project has been financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, under the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, and is part of the Actions for Improving Energy Efficiency in Tourist Accommodations, promoted by European institutions, the Government of Spain, and the Balearic Islands Autonomous Community.
