Santanyi is the ideal destination for lovers of the sea and nature, with several urban centers made up of small inland towns such as Calonge, s\u2019Alqueria Blanca and Llombards. There are also interesting coastal towns such as Cala Figuera with its traditional fishing port and Portopetro, where the yacht and sailing club is located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Worth seeing in Santanyi<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>If you travel to Mallorca you should not miss Santanyi, as well as some of its nooks and crannies and also the gastronomy that make <strong>it one of the most attractive areas of the island<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The weekly market<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Every <strong>Wednesday<\/strong> and <strong>Saturday morning<\/strong> there is a farmers market in Santanyi, where you can find local products and handicrafts and enjoy a coffee in the restaurants in the area. It takes place in the city center on the Plaza Mayor and several surrounding streets. One of the most famous stands is La Manchega with gourmet products and a large selection of cold cuts and cheeses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Restaurants with live music<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>In the city center you will find a variety of restaurants serving international and local cuisine. Some of them have live music in the evenings, such as Sa Cova. For those who love live music, it will be a pleasure to choose between different styles: jazz, blues, flamenco guitar &#8230; Sometimes they even host concerts of alternative or rock music, especially on weekends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Mondrag\u00f3 Natural Park<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Mondrag\u00f3 has been a nature reserve since 1992 and is located in the municipality of Santany\u00ed. It is divided into a private zone (mostly) and a public zone that can be visited by tourists. From its landscape we must highlight the stone shelters that animals and people used hundreds of years ago. Also of interest are the terraces and other elements of agricultural engineering, such as the water wheels, the cisterns or the ditches dug across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beaches and coves<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dracmallorca.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/foto-costa-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-637\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dracmallorca.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/foto-costa-1.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.dracmallorca.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/foto-costa-1-768x461.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Coastline Santany\u00ed<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This community has spectacular beaches and coves that definitely not should be missed. Cala Figuera, for example, is an old fishing port where you can still see the typical way of life of the islanders. In addition to the crystal clear waters, on some beaches you can see the old defense towers and other ruins from the 18th century that are still in the same place where they were built. In short, the Community of <strong>Santanyi <\/strong>is a perfect place to live or to spend your vacation. It has beautiful beaches and bays, a rich gastronomy and a lot of history that the ruins testify.
